Extraterrestials consist of ten revolving Blue Congo potatoes. These potatoes were leftovers after the potato planting in spring, abandoned in a bucket in the basement during the summer months. Long, purple sprouts grew, like tentacles, while the potatoes became shrivelled and shrunken. Eventually, small baby potatoes began to grow from the seemingly lifeless lumps. Transmuted and resurrected earthlings or meteorites from other solar systems. A bunch of extraterrestrials, ready to pullulate!
The spawning and swarming potatoes are carefully attached to invisible thread and mounted on a rotating motor, designed for a disco ball.

Extraterrestials was shown at the exhibition Jordvendt at Fredrikstad kunstforening with Anna Widén, Toril Rygh og Gry Hege Johansen.
